John, when politicians roll back voting access and gerrymander legislative maps to suit their own political interests, the people are the losers. They’re passing laws that systematically make it harder for some folks to cast a ballot. They’re drawing new district lines that assure they’ll stay in power for the next decade.

And the GOP is at it again here in North Carolina, where their new maps guarantee they’ll control at least 70% of our congressional seats and could secure them supermajorities in Raleigh — all while limiting the power of voters of color to choose their representatives.
