Hi John,
One of our goals for 2022 is to increase economic opportunities for Iranian Americans. One key way to do this is by securing a minority status designation for our community with the federal government. That's why I'm pleased to announce our Iranian-American Small Business initiative.
The Small Business Administration (SBA) provides government-backed loans, contracts, and economic support to businesses, and currently, our community is excluded from minority status. Minority status provides preferred access to financial instruments like loans and grants, trainings, workshops, networking opportunities, and other programs that can help business owners start and scale their businesses.
These campaigns directly benefit the Iranian-American community but are only possible through your generous support. That's why I'm humbly asking: can you chip in $20 or more toward this important campaign? Your gift to NIAC is 100% tax deductible. [[link removed]]

As part of this effort, NIAC has secured time with SBA Director Julie Clowes on December 16th at 1pm PT where we'll talk about small business financing and disaster loans. You can RSVP for this event here [[link removed]] .
Thanks for being part of this community, John,
