NBC News: “Supreme Court poised to weaken or overturn Roe”
We want to quickly update you on the status of reproductive rights in our country.
At the beginning of this month, the Supreme Court began hearing a case regarding a Mississippi law that could finally accomplish what anti-choice extremists have been after for decades: destroying Roe v. Wade.
The vast majority of American voters believe women in every state should have access to a full range of reproductive health care, but if Roe v. Wade is struck down, 21 states would ban or severely restrict critical reproductive care.
The ongoing Supreme Court case poses the most serious threat to Roe v. Wade and reproductive rights ever since the original decision. That’s why Dutch took action in the House by voting for legislation that would codify Roe into law and protect access to reproductive health care for women across the country.
We’re counting on grassroots activists like you to get involved in the fight for reproductive rights. Will you add your name and call on the Senate to take action to protect Roe v. Wade and access to reproductive health care?
Thanks,
Team Dutch
