I wanted to take a minute to talk about how important today is.

The decision we make as a country on November 3, 2020 will set the course of our nation for generations to come. It's not news to you that this is the most important election of our lifetimes.

We have 365 days to get this right -- to fight for the soul of our nation, bring empathy and dignity back to the White House, and restore stable, respected leadership for our country.

But the road won't be easy. We need to get through a long and difficult primary before we face off against Donald Trump's millions. We can't afford to be behind going into the most important stretch of this race so I have a question for you: Will you chip in $5 to my campaign today to put us on track to beat Donald Trump in 365 days?

The stakes couldn't be higher. But, I have faith in us because I know that, as Americans, there's nothing we can't do when we work together.

And we're going to work for it. We already know that winning this race isn't going to be easy -- first we need to get through the Democratic primary.

Just 100 days from now, New Hampshire voters will decide who they want to see advance to the general election, and we've got a lot of work to do across the Granite State to earn more votes.

Whether we win or lose will come down to how many voters we can reach across New Hampshire, and that means spending more resources on grassroots organizing and ads to share our message.

But that's where other candidates have a huge advantage over us -- they've got more cash in the bank than we do.
