I am truly amazed. My team launched the Defend Kaptur Fund last Saturday to help me combat Republican schemes in both Washington and Columbus. Since then, your support has been monumental.
I have spent every waking hour of my time in Congress fighting for the people of the Heartland. Because of my advocacy for good jobs, a clean environment, safe and affordable housing, and health and retirement security, we will start 2022 with a big target on our back. But, over the past week especially, I’ve been blown away by the outpouring of support.
So many of you have contributed to our Defend Kaptur Fund. We are now just a few steps away from our goal. We need to raise $5000 by tomorrow to stay ahead of our 2022 fundraising.
Republicans will stop at nothing to steal this seat, but I still have a lot of fight left in me. I know that we can win this together. Can you pitch in $25 to help us reach our $5,000 goal by tomorrow?
I’ll give it to you straight: we have an uphill battle ahead of us. The GOP is trying everything to wrangle away another seat in their quest for one-party rule. But I know that we are the team that can defeat them. Together, we can overcome their attacks, and secure a more hopeful future.
With 2022 around the corner, we need to hit our fundraising goal tomorrow to stay on track to keep this seat in YOUR hands and keep up the fight for good jobs with good wages, protecting seniors and our veterans, and preserving the health of our Great Lakes. Can you pitch in $25 tonight?
