John,
The days may be getting shorter and cooler, but we're not letting that slow us down! Between taking a vocal stand on reproductive freedom and getting out and meeting with members of the houseless community, there is simply too much to get done for the people of CA-25.
Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to:
Christy had a great time marching in the Lancaster Holiday Parade last week! Thank you to the Antelope Valley Progressive Democrats for bringing it all together.
In light of the recent SCOTUS hearings over abortion rights, Christy released a fiery new video where she talks about a very personal story and why reproductive rights are the front and center of this campaign:
Christy's campaign was recently highlighted in a Jezebel article, where she talked about the needs of the district, including the dire need for more Planned Parenthoods and women's health clinics. Christy will continue to be a staunch and outspoken advocate for reproductive justice in CA-25 and the nation. Read the full article here!
Every human being deserves a warm meal and a place to lay their head. That's why Christy spent time serving food and speaking with members of the houseless community over Thanksgiving.
We need a much stronger investment in affordable housing and a national strategy to address homelessness to make sure no human being goes without.
Christy was honored to be a part of the Samuel Dixon Family Health Center Turkey Giveaway to provide dinners to families in need over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Thank you so much to this amazing organization for keeping our community healthy and helping families put dinner on the table.
Thank you for being with Christy and being a part of this movement. We don't take corporate PAC money and rely on grassroots donors like you.
Can you chip in a $5 donation to our grassroots movement to finally have a representative who will fight for ordinary people over special interest?>>>
We know your time and hard-earned money is precious, so thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for giving what you can. Together, we can move mountains!
Until next time,
-- Team Christy |
