Dear John,
I wanted you to know you still have a chance to be part of our $50,000 2X Bonus Match and make twice the difference in our fight against Alzheimer's disease.
We were thrilled when our friend Dr. Perter B. Landecker generously pledged $50,000 and offered to match all gifts made to the Alzheimer's Association before December 31 — if we can raise the same amount by the deadline. Dr. Landecker believes in our fight and took action toward a cure.
He's making this gift in honor of his mother, Mildred Landecker, a longtime friend and supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, and it will support the International Research Grant Program which funds investigations to advance our understanding of Alzheimer's, identify potential treatment strategies and improve care for people living with dementia.
Now is the perfect time for you to take action. Your gift, of any amount up to a total of $50,000, can go 2X further to provide care and support services to the more than 6 million Americans living with Alzheimer's, and to their over 11 million caregivers, as well as propel Alzheimer's research forward.
Alzheimer's disease kills more Americans every year than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined — yet it remains the most under-recognized public health crisis in this country. Sadly, however, it may eventually touch many of our lives in one way or another. In fact, 50% of people in the United States know someone living with Alzheimer's.
Until there's a cure, we won't stop. But we need friends like you to support our critical work to further our mission of leading the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
We need you in this fight. Any amount you give today can multiply 2X in impact to help stop this terrible disease.
Whatever you give today can have 2X the impact. |
|
John, I know you have a caring heart, and I'm so grateful for people like you. Before today is over, will you please make a donation that can have 2X its normal impact? The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's and dementia research, and we count on people like you to help us move forward in this battle.
Alzheimer's steals memories and tears families apart. It robs us of our mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, and other loved ones. But Alzheimer's is not invincible. Together, we can eradicate this devastating disease and one day fulfill our vision of a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
With the help of our supporters, we've been able to: |
|
Increase research funding to more than $250 million in over 750 active best-of-field projects in 39 countries. |
|
Provide support all day, every day for people living with Alzheimer's or another dementia through our 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900) and online resources at alz.org. |
|

If you've already donated to this bonus match, thank you. Your generosity is much appreciated. If you haven't yet responded, please donate now and help us accelerate our fight with a gift that can double in impact.
Thank you so much for caring and showing your support.
Sincerely,
Donna McCullough
