Mikie in the House

Tax cuts: Mikie voted to pass the Reconciliation bill through the House. The package would fix the SALT deduction cap and cut taxes for middle-class families; keep child care costs down; and create hundreds of thousands of clean-energy jobs.

INVESTING IN OUR INFRASTRUCTURE: Mikie helped pass the bipartisan infrastructure bill through the House, and it was signed it into law last month. It will shorten commute times, fully fund the Gateway Tunnel Project, replace lead pipes to ensure clean drinking water, expand access to affordable internet, upgrade rail and bus transit lines, and repair and replace roads, bridges, and highway roads.

BLOOMFIELD THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVES: Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Mikie participated in the Sewa Diwali food drive in Parsippany, donating 1,700 pounds of food to Morris Plains food pantry and 2,400 pounds of food to Parsippany food pantry. Mikie also participated in the Essex Thanksgiving Food Distribution to help deliver holiday dinners to families in New Jersey and across the country.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY: For Small Business Saturday, Mikie and her family visited Blue Hippo Coffee in Verona, Just Jersey in Morristown, and Just Kidding Around in Montclair to support New Jersey’s small businesses and our local economy.

NJ-11 2022 Race Updates

1. Eight opponents have entered the race for NJ-11 to challenge Mikie.
2. GOP outside groups have spent nearly $1 million attacking Mikie.
3. The next FEC deadline (the last one of the year) is just over three weeks away. If you can spare a few dollars, please consider chipping in to our campaign before the deadline.
