Breaking news, John:
The U.S. Supreme Court just issued its ruling on Texas’s extreme 6-week abortion ban, and in a 5-4 decision, they’re allowing the law to go into effect while the appeals process continues.
This is a disturbing day, John, and means that pregnant people in Texas — especially those who are poor — will have little to no reproductive choice, unless they have the means to travel out-of-state.
As this case goes back to the courts, today’s decision does not bode well for Roe v. Wade. It’s all the more reason we need legislators in Congress to codify Roe v. Wade into law and protect every person’s right to choice.
My opponent and PA-01’s Republican Representative Brian Fitzpatrick has voted again and again against the right to choose.
Help me replace him in 2022 and defend our reproductive freedom in Congress: rush a donation of $10 or more to support our campaign now.
