The no fossil fuel money pledge means I'm refusing donations from oil, gas, and coal industry executives, lobbyists, and PACs -- and here in the Central Valley, we know all too well that fossil fuels and corporate polluters harm our health and the environment.
I see it with the kiddos I teach. Pollution and smoke is very harmful -- especially during recess. I've watched some struggle with asthma and other complications due to climate change and our deteriorating environment.
I'd rather prioritize the health of our families, climate, and democracy over fossil fuel industry profits -- but that means I need a ton of people chipping in grassroots amounts if we're going to fund this campaign the right way.
Will you chip in $5, $15, or even $35 to help fund our outreach efforts? The more we raise now, the more Democrats and undecided voters we'll be able to reach. We're coming up $5,191 short of our daily goal and need to pick up the pace.
