Last week, the Supreme Court heard arguments in the most consequential abortion rights case in 50 years, and activists say it's likely the Court's decision could severely limit abortion access, or overturn Roe entirely. And just this morning, the Justices issued a decision on Texas' abortion ban, allowing the law to stand.

That's why I'm checking in to make sure you saw Cecile Richards' email, team. She's absolutely right when she says it's critical to elect Democratic governors who will keep abortion safe and legal and make reproductive health a priority.

I am not exaggerating when I say the future of Roe hangs in the balance. It's critical that we use our power to elect Democratic governors, who will fight like hell to protect reproductive freedom and uphold our values -- no matter what the Court decides to do.
