Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party have no policy agenda, and they aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they’re totally uninterested in helping working families.

Last month, NewDems stood together and passed the Build Back Better Act – extending the expanded Child Tax Credit and ensuring payments would continue to moms and dads into 2022.

But at this moment, Republicans are stalling the extension of these payments in the Senate. And if they fail to take action before December 31st, the Expanded Child Tax Credit will expire in the new year.

Child Tax Credit payments have cut child poverty in half and helped millions of families afford childcare, pay their bills, and put food on the table. American families cannot afford to lose this critical middle-class tax cut. Sign on now to demand that Senate Republicans stop their obstruction and PASS Build Back Better now!

Mitch McConnell and the Republican Party have no policy agenda, and they aren’t even trying to hide the fact that they’re totally uninterested in helping working families.

If they continue to stall on Build Back Better, Child Tax Credit payments won’t be the only thing on the chopping block: Investments to fight climate change, universal pre-K, and new measures to make prescription drugs more affordable will also be in jeopardy.

We need you to make your voice heard on this, team: Sign on now to demand that Senate Republicans stop their obstruction and PASS Build Back Better now! We will tweet at Mitch McConnell with our final number of signatures demanding action.
