Good afternoon friend,

More than 45,000 supporters from across the country have already signed our open
letter to Boris Johnson petitioning the government to allocate parliamentary
time for a full debate on assisted dying. Add your name today
[[link removed]] to back law change.

We now have a date secured to personally hand in this petition to Downing Street
before the end of the year, but we want to make sure that the true volume of
support on this issue is fully represented.

When time is made in a parliamentary process for the public to have their say,
support for choice at the end of life is overwhelming. In Jersey, the citizens’
jury unequivocally backed a reform of the law. We expect the results of the
consultation currently underway in Scotland to be similarly decisive. Show your
support and take just 30 seconds to add your name today.

Securing a Government commitment to allow time for a full and fair debate would
ensure that MPs and Peers had the time and capacity to fully and meaningfully
scrutinise - and pass - an assisted dying law. Only then will we have a law that
is safe, fair and compassionate in how it treats dying people.

This is our final campaign action of the year and you can make it count. We want this petition
[[link removed]] to make some noise and the more names behind it the greater its influence.

Thank you so much for all the ways you’ve supported us this year and thank you
in advance for taking the time to sign.

All the best,

Sadie Kempner
