Prayers for Mike McDaniel & Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the loss of Ellen McDaniel earlier this week. Ellen was the beloved wife of former State Party Chairman Mike McDaniel. She was an active member of our party and supported several causes, candidates and campaigns as a staffer or volunteer over the years. Her passing was unexpected and has left Mike, her family, friends, and those of us she touched throughout her life deeply saddened.

Please join us in lifting up Mike and all of Ellen's family and friends in prayer during this tragic time. Those wishing to send sympathy cards and notes of condolences can mail them to the Indiana Republican Party Headquarters. We'll make sure Mike and his family receive them. Our address is:

Thank you for your prayers. I know we can speak for Hoosiers across the state in offering our deepest and heartfelt sympathies to Mike and the entire McDaniel family during this time.

Governor Holcomb's Week That Was

Building One Indiana For All

Governor Holcomb announced the placement of Indiana's first-ever naloxone vending machine. This is the first of 19 to be placed statewide.

"There is no single solution to ending this epidemic that has taken the lives of thousands of Hoosiers... Naloxone vending machines are a practical tool to prevent overdoses and save lives," Governor Holcomb.

The governor also continues to sit down for year-end interviews with local media outlets. Here is a selection of some of the ones published so far:

Indiana Right to Life Dinner

Eric Holcomb for Indiana (EHFI) and the Indiana Republican Party were proud, once again, to support Indiana Right to Life's annual Christmas gala. It was great to be with so many fellow pro-life Hoosiers, including Mike and Karen Pence. This is an exciting time for the pro-life movement and we are keeping a close eye on several ongoing legal challenges aimed at protecting the unborn. Many thanks to the IRL team and the hundreds of pro-life advocates that are making an impact here in Indiana and across the country.
