Allied Media Projects

Dear beloveds,

As the solstice approaches and the new year sits on the horizon, we draw deep inside to ignite our existential joy in the face of uncertainty and grief. As we approach the second year of the COVID pandemic and the abrupt alterations to the way we have historically convened, organized, and gathered; we are inspired and uplifted by the collective brilliance our community is cultivating.

Through a participatory community process and an open call for proposals this year, we were able to select over 25+ Track and Network Gatherings for AMC2022 ([link removed]) .

The first-ever hybrid Allied Media Conference is happening June 30th-July 3rd, 2022 online and in Detroit. AMC2022 will be a space to explore new forms of organizing, infused with creativity, deep listening, and synergy between diverse mediums and tactics.

We're now seeking proposals for online sessions! ([link removed])

AMC2022 will feature a dynamic range of ten unique focus areas – from Journalism for Liberation to Abolishing Carceral Tech to Sex & Pleasure as Tools for Community Healing – that explore the imaginative strategies we need for joyful and sustainable activism. When you propose a session for the AMC, you can associate it with one of the AMC’s Tracks or offer it independently as part of our Shaping Change Track.

Check out the Tracks and Network Gatherings ([link removed]) and then, submit a proposal by February 9th at 11:59pm EST.
