*Nottingham Bike Aid*

There are 100 bikes left to give away as part of the City Council funded Bike Aid project, delivered by Ridewise and Nottingham Bikeworks. The project provides free bikes to low income earners working in Nottingham. Find out more. [ [link removed] ]

*Victoria Embankment consultation*

The latest stage of consultation began this week, on the proposed designs and locations for gates, bollards, and signs to enforce the permanent closure to through traffic. Find out more and have your say. [ [link removed] ]

*National accreditation for Mapperley school*

St Augustine's Roman Catholic Primary and Nursery School has become the first in the city to gain Bronze Modeshift STARS accreditation, in recognition of the work of staff and pupils to encourage sustainable travel. Read more. [ [link removed] ]

Rail services ??

*East Midlands Railway (EMR): *EMR will be reinstating services in two stages; first stage from Monday 13 December and then the second from Monday 3 January. Further details can be found on EMR's website. [ [link removed] ]

*CrossCountry: *Due to train crew availability, there will be disruption to services from Monday 29 November until further notice. Check CrossCountry's website [ [link removed] ]for the latest information.

*Bulwell Bus Station ??*

We’re proposing improvements to Bulwell Bus Station to make using public transport even easier. Funded by a grant from the Government's Transforming Cities Fund, the plans include a better waiting environment, and a new, centralised saw-tooth arrangement for buses. *******Emergency road closure just after level crossing for Cadent Gas works 

********Monday 22 November - Friday 24 December: Willow Road at the junction with Lenton Lane*
*******Emergency road closure on Willow Road and temporary traffic signals on Lenton Lane as and when needed for emergency works due to sewer collapse. Willow Road will be closed as follows:


* 1am to 5am each night at the junction Willow Road and Lenton Lane. Starting Tuesday 30 November 2021 until further notice.
* The parking bay on the north west side of Willow Road will be suspended to accommodate the works.
* Access will be maintained to the units during the closure times.

Severn Trent Water replacement scheme

Severn Trent will be undertaking a scheme to replace water mains on various roads in the Forest Fields area from July 2021. This will include rolling road closures and parking suspensions in 100m sections to excavate and install new water mains in the highway..
