Our reproductive rights are in danger.

ICYMI: The Supreme Court heard a case last week that directly threatens the core
holding of our constitutional right to abortion. If a majority of justices rule in favor of Mississippi’s 15-week abortion ban, the precedent set by Roe v. Wade would be overturned .
[[link removed]] While it could be months before the Court releases its decision on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (which we hope is the right thing), Congress can pass the Women’s Health Protection Act now to expand reproductive
rights and access for everyone. [[link removed]]


Across the nation, medically unnecessary restrictions have made it harder for everyone to access abortion care. If Roe is overturned, things will only get worse as trigger laws cue bans in 24 states (1) . People of color, rural communities, young people, LGBTQI+ people, people with
disabilities, immigrants, and those struggling to make ends meet would be most
affected.
