Michigan is going to be a critical battleground state next year.

Hello,

We’re just days away from the start of 2022, which is going to be a critical election year in Michigan. In 2022 there will be a midterm, not a presidential, election. That isn’t stopping ex-president Donald Trump from targeting Michigan though.

According to a November Politico article, Trump is targeting five states in 2022. He’ll hold rallies in these states and endorse his own candidates with the goal of putting his allies in top offices like the Governor’s seat

Here's the really bad news: Michigan is one of the five states.

Michigan is a critical battleground state. Not only do we need to make sure Democrats like Governor Gretchen Whitmer win, but we need to ensure that Democrats keep our majority in Congress by sending our entire House delegation back to D.C.

I’ll be honest, we’re up against a lot, Friend. The Republican-controlled state legislature is trying to pass voter suppression laws and spread disinformation ahead of the 2022 election.

I’m ready to fight back against every card stacked against us to keep Michigan blue in 2022, but I need your help.

Will you stand with me and the Michigan Democratic Party today by chipping in to fuel our work to turn out Democrats in 2022?
