What can we do to make the election results safe and secure?

“What’s the plan for keeping our elections safe and secure in 2020?”
It’s a question all of us at Verified Voting have heard from a lot of you, with increasing urgency. And with the 2020 general election now officially just one year away, it’s one we expect to hear a lot more. The good news is, we have an answer.
Our plan for Validating 2020 is toexpand risk-limiting audits across the country to confirm election outcomes – or correct discrepancies – before the vote counts are final. We know there is growing enthusiasm for these audits among election officials just waiting to be tapped. And we know it will take every member of our team working as hard as we can to reach every jurisdiction on our list with the tools and guidance they need.
