Yesterday National Review published a piece by Robert Agostinelli, written in the first person, about his return to his Catholic High School and how it quickly turned into a woke mess.  In many ways it is a very typical, now old and almost trite, story.  We’ve heard it a thousand times by now.  I have personally experienced it.  But one comment by Agostinelli set my thoughts in a new direction:

God is bigger than a church building. He reveals himself to us in myriad ways: through the Bible savored in silence or thundered in a sermon, through prayerful solitude or bread broken with others.
