Throughout 2021, the Living New Deal has persisted!

• We rebuilt our website, livingnewdeal.org, adding new user-friendly tools and content. 
• Our online archives grew to nearly 17,000 New Deal sites nationwide.
• We launched a New Deal Book Award to recognize and encourage nonfiction works about the New Deal era. The winner will be announced at the FDR Library in Hyde Park this summer.
• We launched our Map and Guide to the New Deal in Washington, D.C., and delivered hundreds of maps to members of Congress.
• We produced a new webinar series, "The Next New Deal,” featuring leading voices on the New Deal’s importance historically and today. 

Our team now stretches from coast to coast, including National Associates and Advisors covering virtually every state. 
 
Much remains to be done to get our country back to health—overcoming Covid; restoring jobs; rebuilding our infrastructure; taking on climate change and more. We remain inspired by the New Deal’s response to crises past and the wave of interest in restoring a new New Deal today.
