ICYMI: Important Victories
Thanks to your kind messages, I know how much many of you enjoy and rely on our "End of Day" reports. But much of our work doesn't make headlines, and it can't.
That's because it's done behind the scenes, based on my decades of experience in Washington, D.C., working with key policymakers on the issues we care deeply about as men and women of faith.
And I'm pleased to report that in even this current atmosphere, we've managed to score a number of important victories recently.
- The Senate voted last night to reject Joe Biden's vaccine mandate on private businesses.
- Really bad provisions were stripped out the National Defense Authorization Act, measures like drafting women in combat, "Red Flag" laws and a new effort to put critical race theory in the military on steroids.
- Legislation banning products made with slave labor in communist China passed the House of Representatives last night.
- And, of course, I believe we're on the verge of a great pro-life victory in the Supreme Court.
We can't do any of this work without your continued prayers and financial support.
Year-end donations account for the bulk of our annual budget, and we're A LONG WAY from meeting our budget needs.
In fact, those needs are going to increase tremendously next year. We will be supporting important voter education and voter registration efforts, and we will be fighting an all-out assault by the left to preserve abortion on demand.
