Sincerely,
Senator John J. Bell
Senator of Virginia
13th District
November Election
Last month, Virginia had its statewide elections, and elected Glenn Youngkin as Governor, Winsome Sears as Lieutenant Governor, and Del. Jason Miyares as Attorney General. While I had hoped for the election to go a different way, I respect the voters' voices and congratulate the winners. My commitment to the 13th District's interests remains unchanged no matter who is in office. I look forward to finding common ground with our new statewide officials and working together on bipartisan issues that benefit the whole Commonwealth.
Loudoun Delegation Pre-Session Hearing
The Loudoun Delegation to the General Assembly will be holding a Pre-Session Hearing on Saturday, January 8th from 2-4pm at the Loudoun County Government Center. A sign-up sheet will be coming soon so that you can speak to your representatives about your priorities for the upcoming session.
Pre-Session Constituent Survey
Can't make it to the Pre-Session Hearing? Not a problem! Constituents of the 13th District can fill out our Pre-Session Survey to tell Senator Bell and our office how best we can represent you. Please fill out the survey with the most important issues to you and your family. This is just one of many opportunities for you to make your voice heard in the 13th District!
COVID-19 and Vaccine Updates
As the Omicron variant, labeled a "Variant of Concern" by the WHO, starts to circulate across the world, it's more important than ever that we all get fully vaccinated. While there is much we don't know about this new variant, recent data suggests that three shots may be more effective against Omicron variant infection than the regular two-shot regimen. As of today, 16.6% of Loudoun County and 14.4% of Prince William County are vaccinated with three doses, and there is no better day to schedule your appointment for your booster shot if you haven't already. As a reminder, children 5 and up are also now eligible for the Pfizer vaccine, so please do your part and get yourself and your kids vaccinated. You can go to vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682) to schedule an appointment today.
