Dear Friends,
A blessed Advent to all of you and
your families!
It is our great joy to echo the
recent announcement of His Eminence, Raymond Leo Cardinal Burke, that he will offer a Pontifical High Mass, in the Extraordinary
Form – the older, Traditional Latin Mass, which will be livestreamed
by our friends at Catholic Answers at the Shrine
of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La
Crosse, Wisconsin on Saturday, December 11th at 11 am
(Central Time).
The Moderators of the livestream
broadcast will offer some important insights and commentary about the
Ancient Rite of the Mass, and you will not want to miss it. If you’d
like to learn more, we’ve provided this concise primer on the TLM for your information.
(Note: We will send you the link to the livestream
broadcast when it becomes available. If you need to know the exact
time of the Mass for your specific time zone, please click
this link to calculate it from the coordinate of Madison, Wisconsin
which is the closest town to
where the Mass will be
offered.)
As you are well aware, Cardinal
Burke has been the Episcopal
Advisor since the founding of Catholic Action for Faith and Family and
the leading force in offering
our Operation Storm Heaven monthly Holy Masses on the first
day of every month prior to his unfortunate illness a few months ago.
Several wonderful prelates (such as Archbishop Cordileone of San
Francisco and Archbishop Sample of Portland) have stepped in
to offer the First of the Month
Holy Mass in his
absence.
In so doing, the Operation Storm
Heaven Global Rosary Crusade continues its trajectory of
bringing together one million Catholics praying the Rosary on the
1st of each month in union with the Holy
Sacrifice of the Mass.
Be sure to subscribe to
our Operation Storm Heaven updates and alerts about future livestream
broadcasts. You can view our previous Livestream Holy Masses on
our YouTube Channel.
If you have not had a chance to
submit your prayer intentions for “O Holy and Pure Virgin Mary” holy
masses, which includes the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, please
click here: We are praying for the continuation of good health for
Cardinal Burke, so please join in.
Let us remember Cardinal Burke in our Rosaries,
most especially during our
Advent journey to Bethlehem as we look forward to receiving our divine
Savior, who alone can heal the world.
Sincerely yours in
Christ,
Thomas J. McKenna Founder and President
