I wanted to write you a quick note to give you an update on my work in the Senate.

With Democratic leadership in the White House and in Congress, we've been working hard to put America back on the path to progress. That means providing more help to families who need it, like we did with the child tax credit, and giving millions more people access to the vaccine, like we did with the American Rescue Plan. It also means securing the most significant infrastructure investment our country has made in decades.

We're far from finished. As chair of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Competition Policy, Antitrust and Consumer Rights, I'm working to hold monopolies accountable and investigate anti-competitive practices. And I'm happy to say that my colleagues and I have made progress on voting rights by introducing the Freedom To Vote Act, which will set basic national voting standards. Now we need to get it to President Biden's desk for signature.
