Until every veteran has an ID...

Dear Friends,

We've noted that we decided to launch our #FreeIDsForVets campaign after seeing how widespread the need was thanks to the work of our colleagues at Spread The Vote. 

And it's not that surprising when looking at other data on the veteran population. ~40,000 veterans are without shelter on any given night, accounting for 11% of homeless adults in the United States of America. 

An ID can feel like a privilege but it's an absolute necessity. And veterans realize this, as you can see from this message from a case manager who works with Spread The Vote:

Many veterans can't do this on our own, and neither can we. But with your support, we know we can turn the dream of free IDs for veterans into a reality starting in 2022.
