Hey friend,
I always love Election Day, but I’ll be honest: I hate waiting in lines, even to vote. That’s why every November, I wake up nice and early, grab a big cup of coffee, and try to be one of the first people at the polls!
We all lead busy lives, and sometimes things get hectic. Kids get sick, you might have to work through your lunch break, or the weather might be too terrible to stand outside! That’s why it’s always easier if you make a plan to vote -- in the morning like I do, or whenever works for you -- and stick to it.
We all have a responsibility to make our voices heard on November 5th. Make a plan to vote, and then commit to showing up at the polls this Tuesday!

This election is so important, not just for the city of Richmond, but for our entire state. We have a real shot at flipping both chambers of the Virginia General Assembly blue and electing Democrats up and down the ballot.
But democracy isn’t a spectator sport -- it’s something we all have to participate in for it to work. So I’m committing to vote on Tuesday, and I hope you’ll join me.
Make a plan to vote: in the morning, after work, or anytime in between! Then, commit to your plan and make your voice heard on November 5th.
