The midterm elections may seem far away, but Republicans are already deep in preparation. Not only has the National Republican Campaign Committee placed me on their “offensive target” list, but three far-right Republicans have already declared their candidacy against me.

One of those opponents is Lisa Scheller. Her name might sound familiar because she was also my opponent in 2020 when I won one of the most competitive races in the country by just 3.8%.

Here’s the thing: she wouldn’t run against me again if she didn’t think she had a real chance of winning. But I defeated her once, and I know I can do it again — as long as I have the kind of support from folks like you that I did in 2020.
