Good news:

The House recently passed President Biden’s Build Back Better bill, a historic social spending bill that will provide immediate relief to working families and communities all across our state.

Here are some of the costs Build Back Better will cut for working families:

• Families will pay $8.6k less annually for pre-k
• No middle income families will pay more than 7% of their income for childcare
• Families will save nearly $3k annually on insurance premiums
• Seniors won’t pay more than $2k for prescription drugs under Medicare

This is GREAT news for South Carolinians. Now, we just need a governor who is eager and willing to utilize ALL resources available to better our communities and our futures.

That governor is NOT Henry McMaster, who has time and time again left money on the table while our communities suffer. Chip in to help me defeat Henry so we can get to work and build back better for South Carolinians.
