Voting rights are under attack in this country.

Since the 2020 elections, Republican governors and state legislatures have introduced more than 400 voter suppression bills in an attempt to disenfranchise voters and swing elections in their favor.

Nothing is more imperative in our democracy than protecting the right to vote because the right to vote preserves all others. With our democracy at stake, Maryland Democrats cannot sit on the sidelines right now.

We have a chance to turn the tide on Republican voter suppression – if we elect Democratic governors who will protect voting rights in 2022.

With Republicans working to restrict the right to vote across the country, and the Supreme Court gutting the Voting Rights Act, Democratic governors are the last line of defense in the fight for voting rights. It’s imperative that we flip governor’s offices in states across the country – including Georgia and Maryland.

But it won’t be easy. Outside money is already pouring in to defeat Stacey, and Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp enacted one of the most restrictive voter suppression laws the country’s seen in decades. Early grassroots support is crucial.
