The DOJ filed a lawsuit this week to block gerrymandered new district maps in Texas.

Matt continues to believe it’s vital for every American to have equal and open access to the ballot box -- and gerrymandering is one of the main methods used in state legislatures across the country to consolidate political power at the expense of voters.
