While many families are still recovering from the impacts of COVID, our communities need support now more than ever. That's why passing the Build Back Better Act is critical.
Here are some of the most important parts of the Build Back Better Act:
$555 billion to fight climate change;
Universal Paid Family and Medical Leave;
Health care reform including a cap on drugs like insulin;
Universal pre-k, child care tax credits, and so much more.
This bill is just commonsense -- but that didn't stop Mike Garcia from voting against it just last week. But we won't let him stand in the way of progress.
We need to urge the Senate to pass this piece of critical legislation -- the people of CA-25 can't wait for help any longer.
The Build Back Better Act is with the Senate and it looks like it will be voted on before we start the holidays.
There should be nothing partisan about ensuring that every American citizen has the appropriate resources. And even though Mike Garcia knows this bill would benefit thousands of his own constituents, he still voted against it.
For far too long, basic and necessary reforms have been overlooked. In the meantime, Republicans, like Mike, have manipulated and halted changing the lives of working families right here in CA-25.
