Thanks to you, our programs help empower thousands of people who come to us for support. We also reach immigrants and refugees in places where they need our services the most, like hospitals, shelters, and schools.

Our work with Boston Medical Center and other local hospitals enables immigrant patients with urgent health care needs to gain immigration status and improved health outcomes.

Rian supports immigrant guests at Rosie’s Place; and partners with schools and youth-serving organizations in Boston, Cambridge, and Somerville to assist young students without status have the opportunity of a stable and successful future. This is how we met Madeline.

Madeline is a young woman from Haiti who came to the U.S. seeking medical treatment. After her recovery, Madeline attended high school and was fostered by a family in Boston who connected her to Rian. We helped Madeline obtain Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, an immigration classification available to some undocumented immigrants under 21; and she has had a green card since 2019. Now a 22-year-old college student, Madeline reached out to her attorney to share her hope of studying abroad, and her plan to declare a major and become a pediatric nurse so she can help children who are going through similar experiences to her own. We are happy to have been part of Madeline’s journey and are inspired by her determination.

By making a donation today, you will help us continue this important work and our impact on immigrants, refugees and their families.
