Our heroes risk their lives for our nation's freedom, and Biden's response is to cut their pay if they don't follow his vaccine mandate.
The Pentagon announced last week they plan to cut the pay for individual Oklahoma Guard members who are not vaccinated. Which is absurd and illegal. The law does not allow the Pentagon to cut the pay for members of the Oklahoma Guard, but they are trying it anyway.
I am taking a stand to stop the Pentagon from reaching in to cut individual pay for our Oklahoma National Guard who have chosen not to get vaccinated.
I will not stand by while the men and women who have volunteered to serve our state and nation are punished for making a personal decision. I have been on the floor of the Senate fighting for the rights of our Guard members and working behind the scenes to fix this injustice.
I introduced an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act and a standalone bill to stop the Pentagon--but Democrats continue to block both.
This is why I need your help. We have to win back the Senate to ensure there are checks on the President and a Senate that will actually take up legislation that matters to our state.
We have already won the battle in the courts to stop the private-employer mandate and the medical-sector mandate. We just won on blocking the federal contractor mandate in court. And in the past 24 hours, the Senate voted to overturn the private-sector mandate. We are pushing back against Biden's unconstitutional overreach and winning, but there is more to defend.

It's time to take a stand. It's time to tell President Biden and the Pentagon that we will not sit idle while they continue to overspend and overreach on our liberties.
