A continuation of the Christmas Walk celebration presented by Allied First Bank has been postponed due to inclement weather forecasts

After last year?s success, the Village of Oswego and presenting sponsor Allied First Bank are bringing back the Holiday Drive Through at Venue 1012 on Friday, Dec. 17 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. The event, originally set for Dec. 10, has been postponed due to inclement weather ? we wouldn?t want Santa?s elves to catch a cold during such a busy time of year!

The Holiday Drive Through brings the return of illuminated first response vehicles, delightful holiday scenes, your favorite holiday tunes, a whole cast of your favorite holiday characters sponsored by Baird & Warner, and an appearance by Santa himself. Children will receive a goody bag from Santa?s elves while supplies last.

?Last year?s event was such a great way to celebrate Christmas, even though we couldn?t gather together, we wanted to bring it back and add even more fun to the holidays,? Village President Troy Parlier said.

Allied First Bank serves as the event?s presenting sponsor, making it possible to bring this great event back for the enjoyment of all.

?Allied First Bank has enjoyed being part of Oswego?s annual Christmas Walk, we were glad to help bring another opportunity to celebrate the holidays to the community,? said Ken Bertrand, bank President and CEO. ?We can?t wait to see you and your families there.?

Venue 1012 is located at 1012 Station Drive, near Orchard Road. Cars can expect to take between 10 and 15 minutes to get through the display route. Cars will be directed to the intersection of Lewis Street and Orchard Road to enter the event from Station Drive.
