We’re happy to welcome you to the team that supports Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. First things first, we’d like to tell you a little more about the mayor.

Quinton ran for mayor in 2019 to ensure all Kansas Citians have the opportunity to succeed, no matter their zip code. He is Kansas City’s third Black mayor and is the youngest elected mayor in more than a century.

Before becoming mayor, Quinton was a law school professor and city council member, representing Kansas City’s Third District. He also serves as an important national figure in his role as Chairman of the United States Conference of Mayors Committee on Criminal and Social Justice, advocating for federal policy that benefits our community and communities across the country.

Quinton has worked tirelessly to serve the people of Kansas City. From leading the fight to decriminalize poverty to keeping families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, he leads with courage and compassion.
