I wanted to make sure you were aware that we’ll be exactly ONE YEAR out from Election Day 2020 tomorrow.

Over the past year, it’s become obvious that flipping Minnesota red next year is a central pillar of Trump’s campaign strategy, and it’s not hard to understand why.

Trump came within 1.5 points of winning Minnesota in 2016, and according to his campaign manager, they only spent tens of thousands of dollars. In 2020, he’s already pledged to spend “tens of millions” of dollars here.

They also know that Democrats could win back Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, but still fail to take back the White House if they succeed in flipping Minnesota red.

As the Minnesota DFL’s Political and Organizing Director, I’m in charge of building and managing the grassroots organizing program we need to fight back. It will be the largest in our Party’s history (and for good reason!).

According to Tyler (our finance director), we still need to raise about $4,200 by tomorrow night to round out the budget so we can start the one year stretch at maximum capacity. That’s why I wanted to reach out directly to ask: Will you chip in $5, $10 or more to help us get there?

One of the best ways to make a difference is by taking advantage of Minnesota’s Political Contribution Refund Program. It’s not just the White House that’s at stake next year. DFLers up and down the ballot are relying on our program.

Please help us hit this goal so we can protect our Minnesota House DFL Majority, take back the Minnesota Senate, re-elect Senator Tina Smith, stop Trumpism, and keep Minnesota blue in 2020. Contribute what you can by tomorrow night.
