Today, Thursday, December 9th, the U.S. House will decide
whether to amend the Protect Our Democracy Act (PODA) to include the
Voter Choice Act -- important legislation providing 40 million dollars
in grants for state and local governments transitioning their
elections to ranked choice voting (RCV).?
Ranked choice voting offers better elections
for all, and it's now been adopted by over 50 cities and states. The
amendment would strengthen the Protect Our Democracy Act, and advance
key provisions bringing RCV, a popular, common-sense reform to even
more communities across the nation.?
