Friend -- This email is about how 2019 is different from 2018. At the end, we're going to ask you to donate. But if you don't have time to read the whole thing and would rather just help us win the elections taking place in three days, here's a link where you can give now:

In 2018, Democrats won elections at nearly every level in what political experts called the "blue wave." But you can't for one second assume the same thing will happen in 2019.

The fact is, Democratic voters tend to stay home in off-year elections, which gives Republicans a built-in advantage. We already saw the consequences once this year when Republicans in Wisconsin elected conservative and anti-LGBTQ judge Brian Hagedorn to the state Supreme Court, in a setback for fair maps.

"A wake-up call for Democrats in Wisconsin, which could be the closest battleground of 2020" -- The Washington Post

"I'm definitely sounding the alarm." -- A.G. Holder

Now we risk the same thing happening in 2019 in states like Louisiana, Virginia, Kentucky, and Texas -- unless Democrats have the resources to turn out voters.

And now we're getting to the part where we ask you for money. Your donation will help us invest in the elections Democrats MUST win to secure fair maps in 2021 -- including elections that are three days away.

Will you pitch in now?
