Yesterday, Elizabeth Warren suggested I was "running in the wrong presidential primary" because I believe in building on Obamacare -- not getting rid of it.

That's so wrong, it’s almost laughable. I’ve been a card-carrying Democrat since I was 27. And I am running for president because of my progressive record.

If my opponents want to have a debate on what they've done to truly implement progressive, meaningful change in our country -- not what they’re planning, not what they’re proposing, but what they’ve accomplished -- I welcome it.

But to hurl insults because we don’t share the same approach for the best way to get to the same goal…well that is something I would expect in the other primary.

So, if you’re with me… if you believe in real progress and not just plans… would you chip in to my campaign?

Look, let's get a few things straight about my record:

I'm the only person in this race who has taken on and beaten the NRA -- and I did it twice. We got assault weapons off the street, limited magazine clips, and implemented background checks for gun sales.

• I passed the Violence Against Women Act, protecting millions of women from abuse and supporting survivors.


• I helped pass the Affordable Care Act, providing health coverage to 20 million Americans and barring insurance companies from discriminating based on pre-existing conditions.


• I was the first White House official to endorse same-sex marriage, so every American could marry the person they love.


• And I helped secure the Paris Agreement, the most ambitious effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in history.

I understand that progress comes when you can accomplish real change for families across the country, not when you make unrealistic promises to them.

But now, I need your help if we’re going to implement real change. The Democratic primary is heating up and voting begins in less than 100 days.
