Republicans are trying to out-do each other to see who can be the most bigoted and racist toward their colleagues. Last month, Paul Gosar of Arizona tweeted a video that depicted violence against Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Lauren Boebert recently came under fire for suggesting Ilhan Omar was part of the "Jihad squad."
As the leader of the Republican Party, it's Kevin McCarthy's job to hold his caucus accountable. Instead, he's letting the far-right run all over him. If it weren't so infuriating, it would be embarrassing.
We're getting a real taste of what a GOP Majority would look like, especially with someone as spineless as McCarthy at the helm.
Voters here in the Central Valley know that McCarthy's the worst, but we need to get the word out to more Democrats and undecided voters so they know Marisa is the viable Democrat running against him. That's why we're asking:
