Yesterday, the Kellogg Company announced that they will be hiring permanent replacements for the employees who went on strike in October after a new union contract was not reached.

As a former union employee of Kellogg’s in Omaha, I unequivocally stand with union workers and understand that the decision to strike is not made lightly — and I am committed to being a pro-union Congresswoman.

It’s simple, John: we cannot have a full economic recovery without an economy that works for all of us. Fair wages, safe working environments, and time off should be non-negotiable. I am looking forward to being a Congresswoman who fights for American workers.
