Abortion access in Ohio is under full-blown attack right now. The future of abortion access is quite literally on the line right now. 

Ohio Republicans just passed SB157 — a draconian bill that creates extreme felony charges around abortions — in the Ohio House today.

SB157 requires doctors to perform life-saving care on fetuses that survive failed abortions and would close Southeast Ohio’s last abortion clinics. The proposed law would also require health care providers to report these incidents to the Ohio Department of health or face third-degree felony charges.

Furthermore, SB157 forces clinics in Cincinnati and Dayton to find new doctors to work with because the bill bans physicians who teach medical students or those affiliated with public hospitals from contracting with abortion clinics.
