Resolve to move forward before the end of the year on BBB and democracy!

Maryland, Virginia And D.C. Indivisibles,

The Senate is in their final workdays of 2021, and we need them to wrap up their business by passing both Build Back Better (BBB) and democracy reform. Our lives and our democracy are on the line -- we need to show up in  D.C. this Monday and tell Congress to Get it Done in 2021!

On Monday, December 13, the Poor People's Campaign is organizing the final nonviolent moral direct action of 2021 in D.C., led by clergy and religious leaders with poor and low-wage workers. We need urgent action from our senators to end the filibuster, pass the Freedom to Vote Act and other bills protecting our democracy, and act to improve the lives of working people, including raising the minimum wage to $15 per hour. We have a goal of 50 Indivisibles attending to represent -- can you be one of them? We think you are close enough to attend!

Our democracy is at stake, and there's absolutely no time to waste. Can you join us on Monday? Click here to register now and get all the details for Monday's event beginning at noon ET in Washington, D.C.

Please note that this event will include nonviolent civil disobedience, which means there is a chance that those who participate will be arrested. You should make an intentional decision on whether or not you, or anyone attending these events, would want to participate in a civil disobedience action. The Poor People's Campaign event organizers will provide guidance and training before the event.

Indivisible Project is a locally-led, people-powered movement of thousands of local groups in red, blue, and purple states, and in urban, suburban, and rural areas. Our mission is to power and lift up a grassroots movement of local groups to defeat the Trump agenda, elect progressive leaders, and realize bold progressive policies.

Grassroots donations, not foundations or large gifts, are our single largest source of funding. That means we’re accountable to, and fueled by, Indivisibles on the ground. Chip in $7 to keep fueling our movement.
