calling on the House of Representatives to remove Rep. Lauren Boebert from
her committee assignments.
Cori has been adamant from the start that we demand full accountability
for the anti-Muslim attacks Boebert made against Ilhan Omar. It's why Cori
was the first Member of Congress to call for consequences to Boebert's
racist attacks.

Last month, conspiracy theorist GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert described Rep.
Ilhan Omar as "black-hearted" and "evil" and went on to imply that she was
a terrorist.
It’s shameful, but we’re not surprised. These are the kind of hateful and
vicious attacks that Muslims around the country face simply for being who
they are.
It’s not the first time Boebert's made bigoted, racist claims, and we
refuse to continue allowing this kind of behavior in Congress. Cori has
seen up close that Capitol Hill has been a toxic work environment for
Muslim members and staff. For too long, Islamophobia has gone unchecked
with no consequences and that must end now.
So today we want to send a loud message that we are not backing down until
Lauren Boebert is held accountable for her bigoted, dangerous behavior.
