John – I hate to reach out with bad news, but this is urgent: Our chances of defending the Senate just plummeted. A recent poll shows me trailing my Trump-endorsed opponent by 3 points.

Winning in Nevada is crucial to defending our Senate majority – and The Cook Political Report already downgraded my chances of winning this critical seat. My race in Nevada is quickly becoming a battleground race: GOP outside groups (including one linked to Mitch McConnell) have already spent more than $3 million to defeat me – and if this new poll is any indication, their blatant attempts to buy this seat and flip the Senate red are working. 

But the poll still has our chances of losing within the margin of error. That means we can turn this around, keep Nevada blue and defend our razor-thin Senate majority. But we have to act now, John.

I won by just 2 points in 2016 – and it was because grassroots supporters like you came through at critical moments. This is one of those moments, John.
