What’s happening in Sandoval County is unacceptable.

Republican county commissioners are rushing through redistricting changes that purposely pack Native communities into one district, rather than give fair representation.

It’s the same playbook we’re seeing all over the U.S. When Republicans are in charge of redistricting, they draw maps to retain power, and they pick their voters, rather than drawing fair maps that keep them accountable to the people.

It’s gross, unacceptable, and shows why we must fight to elect Democrats at all levels.
