1. Beto has dropped out of the presidential race.
2. We’re still one month away from the filing deadline for Texas Senate.

Here’s one more thing we know, this was not about being “clear-eyed.”

In all likelihood, Beto is prepping for a run against Senator Cornyn.

As one of our most loyal supporters, I need to bring you into the fold on this. Our campaign team has pulled together a quick Strategy Memo, but you need to know, this is for your eyes only. In 2018, Robert Francis Beto lost to Ted Cruz by only 2.56% of the vote, and came within 215,000 votes of winning.

With the tremendous resources he can marshal, his ability to invest in long term persuasion campaigns in the areas around Austin, the Houston suburbs and Dallas pose a credible threat to our campaign.

This is some of the most sensitive information in our campaign, and I need you to understand that Democrats and Beto’s team, in particular, want to get their hands on this.

Don’t forget, this information is highly restricted. If Beto and his team get their hands on it, it will be very damaging to our efforts, which is why I’m trusting you with it.
