Our very own Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is proposing a civilian-led force, the Florida State Guard, to assist the Florida National Guard in future emergencies. 

The Florida State Guard is an initiative I thoroughly support -- and I am asking you today to join me in support!

Thanks to Gov. DeSantis’ leadership, Florida would have the ability to respond to anything from weather emergencies to violence - instead of being reliant on the Federal government.

The Florida National Guard would NOT be funded or operated by the federal government, ensuring that its efficiency and effectiveness will be maximized, while keeping costs down and maintaining state control.

The ongoing Democrat disaster in Washington proves that Florida needs this Guard. We can’t afford to rely on the Biden administration -- especially when they’ve made it so clear that they stand in opposition to Gov. DeSantis and his freedom-first policies.
