John,

When he launched his campaign last week, Dr. Oz made sure to include on his website that he’s “100% pro-life.” Yet just two years ago, Dr. Oz said he was against taking away abortion access, acknowledging the health concerns of denying women abortions. But now that he’s running for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania, he seems to be changing his stance.

This is not a TV show — lives are at stake.

Dr. Oz himself has acknowledged the horrors of those forced to have unsafe abortions. It is clear that he will do and say anything to get elected — even if he knows it’s medically misleading or dangerous. It’s disgusting and it is disqualifying, especially right now.

We’re just months away from the conservative-stacked Supreme Court potentially overturning Roe v. Wade — this is not a drill.

We need fighters in the U.S. Senate who’ll do anything they can to protect and expand abortion care. I’m the woman physician in this race who’s ready to go toe-to-toe with Dr. Oz and anti-abortion U.S. Senators, so I’m counting on your grassroots support to get to the U.S. Senate and finally codify Roe v. Wade. That’s why I’m asking you, John:

Can you chip in any amount to fuel my fight to protect and expand abortion rights? Every dollar will make a difference in this race — especially as we go up against the fortune Dr. Oz made from pushing pseudoscience.

Look, I don’t know what oath Dr. Oz took, but I know the one I took when I graduated from medical school: do no harm.

Dr Oz’s willingness to ignore his medical training to earn votes is disqualifying. With Roe v. Wade under the biggest threat it’s faced since it was established decades ago, we need leaders who will fight to protect and expand abortion rights — not undermine them.

As a doctor who specialized in women’s health for more than 20 years, I know how critical it is that these decisions stay between an individual and their doctor. And as the candidate running to become the first woman physician ever elected to the U.S. Senate, I will bring desperately needed experience and perspective.

Please, pitch in any amount you can to my campaign to make sure we can defeat Dr. Oz and stand up for abortion rights at this critical moment: [link removed]

With determination,

Val
